さしつかえ【差し支え】

〔支障〕 a hindrance; an impediment; (an) obstruction; (an) interruption; interference; 〔不便〕 inconvenience.

●差し支えが生じない限り as long as nothing interferes

・差し支えがない 〔支障がない〕 have no impediment [hindrance]; 〔不都合がない〕 experience [suffer] no inconvenience [⇒さしつかえない]

・差し支えがなければ 〔支障がなければ〕 if there's nothing to hinder [interfere]; 〔都合がよければ〕 so long as it causes you no inconvenience; if it suits your convenience

・片足がちょっと不自由だけれど歩くには差し支えがない. One of my legs is a little lame, but it doesn't hinder me from walking.

・差し支えができて行けなくなった. Something's turned up so I'm no longer able to go.

・何か差し支えがあって来られなかったのですか. Did something prevent you from coming?

・来週は差し支えがあってお目にかかれないそうです. He says he cannot see you next week because something has turned up.

・その日は差し支えがあって行かれません. As I have a previous engagement, I cannot go (there) on that day.

・日常生活に差し支えが生じてくるようなら, その膝は手術した方がいいでしょう. If the knee starts impeding your everyday activities, it'd be better to have it operated on.
